Japan recap

For those of you not on Facebook, here are the 'best of' our first 8 months in Japan.  After this initial aggregate of pictures, I hope to maintain the progressing posts in a timely manner.

Everything is a performance here - at this gas station, the attendant 'marshals' the cars out onto the road and bows to them. 

This is Ryan and Brandon at the very first restaurant we ate at when we got here.

Miss Veedol was an airplane that made the first Trans-Pacific flight (1931.)  Misawa is proud and this is one of many replicas.

We spent a lot of time this summer at the Misawa City pool.  (Oh yeah, everybody has to wear swim caps in the pool.)
